Graham Edwards graduated from the University of Cambridge with a degree in Economics. Before joining Trillium in 2001, he sat as head of finance at BT Group property division. Telereal Trillium, based in London, is a property and investments company first formed as Trillium in 1997. In 1998, it acquired Department for Work and Pensions property and later in 2000 acquired by Land Securities. It was in 2000 that it changed from Trillium to Land Securities Trillium.
In 2001, Telereal started as a joint venture by Land Securities Trillium, William Pears Group and B Pears Trust to acquire British Telecom at £2.3 billion. Graham Edwards spearheaded the deliberations that saw Trillium acquired from Land Securities, a deal which placed Telereal Trillium as the leading commercial Property and Investment Company in the market. He also led the £2.4 billion negotiation process which saw Telereal acquiring 6700 property portfolios from BT. Spending an annual total of £284m in 2010, the Government declared Telereal Trillium one of the best-performing private companies in favor of government spending.
