The company’s efforts put them ahead of their peers in 2017, earning them a top 10 ranking in the retail electric providers (REP) published by Market Strategies International.
Stream Energy was ranked one of the most trusted REP’s throughout Texas. The study was performed on over 5800 residents surveying them across a number of customer satisfaction metrics for 52 REPs within the state.
Factors that were evaluated included quality/reliability, reputation, competitiveness of the REPs rates, perceptions on community support of the REPs, communications, customer-based focus, available offerings and billing.
Results from the survey indicated that Texans place a high value on community support, following the devastation left behind by Hurricane Harvey.
Senior Vice President at Market Strategies adds that REPs who who respond to these basic customer needs will find their efforts rewarded with higher levels of customer satisfaction and associated benefits to the business such as long term business success.
The firm’s CEO, Larry Mondry, speaking for Stream Energy on their ranking in the REP survey said that the company was honored to receive recognition for their efforts promoting customer satisfaction, which are part of their company’s business practices. He reaffirmed Stream’s commitment to its customers to continue to earn their support.
In the 3rd quarter of 2017 Stream Energy also announced their contributions to provide relief for victims of Hurricane Harvey. The company announced $25,000 in donations to the Red Cross and several other forms of assistance to their customers and sales associates that included waiving late fees, providing free international long distance calls to their customers and the formation of a crowd funding campaign to support their sales representatives, providing matching donations up to $25,000.
