Ambassador Daniel Taub was born in Britain in the year 1962 and got educated at University College in London, in Oxford as well as the prestigious Kennedy School of Government at the Harvard University. Soon after finishing his studies, he moved to Israel and got a chance to work in the Israeli Defense Forces as a medic. At the same time, he was serving in their International Law Division as a reserve officer.
Two years after moving to Israel, he got the chance to work for the country’s Foreign Ministry where he was able to land various posts related to diplomacy and legal affairs. Between 2011 and 2015, he was appointed as the Israeli ambassador to the United Kingdom, a post he served with a lot of diligence and due professionalism.

At one time, he was Deputy Legal Advisor to the Foreign Ministry. He then proceeded to serve as the Legal Advisor of the country’s missions to the United Nations in Geneva and New York. He was also tasked with representing Israel at many international forums that happened at the time.
His insight played a very crucial role in the negotiations between Israel and Palestine as well as those between Israel and Syria.
He was also at one time responsible for heading his country’s delegation at the International Court of Justice proceedings that were about Israel’s security barrier. He was also appointed as the Court of St. James ambassador in 2011 and played a very imperative role in narrowing the gap by trying to bring together technology and trade links.
