Dr.Saad Saad Achievements and Inventions
Opportunities to serve the royal families are rare and any professional who gets such as chance must be lucky. Dr. Saad Saad is a good testimonial that such once in lifetime opportunities still exist. It was in 1980s when Dr. Saad was picked as the best personal pediatric surgeon to serve the Saudi Royal Family. To bedeck his achievement, he was the only certified pediatric surgeon in the United States. He was also fluent in both Arabic and English.
Saad joined the King Faisal Specialist Hospital and his first task was to perform surgery on a young baby with aneurysm. Among many of his achievements, he asked the details of the surgery to be published in order to educate other people and experts in the profession. Despite being employed to take care of the Saudi Royal, Dr. Saad Saad also performed surgeries on other royals from Persian Gulf, Bahrain and the UAE.
Saad believes that people deserve equal rights to opportunities and this is the core reasons why he serves the poor and the rich. He says that the most valuable principle in life is to be kind to all children regardless of their financial status, ethnicity, religion or physical condition. Honesty and hard work are other traits that Saad Saad embraces. He has served needy communities in U.S, West Bank and in Jerusalem.
In this field, Dr. Saad has focused on improving traditional surgery methods and procedures. To reduce pain and risky operations, he had to employ advanced pediatric surgical procedures. Dr. Saad Saad developed a device that helps detect catheter inside the body without need of a scanning machine. He also devised an endoscope with a self-aided suction to help clear fluids providing a surgeon a better view during surgery. These inventions have made it easy for surgeons to undertake their tasks without any complications and within the shortest time possible.
While still at Saudi Arabia, Dr. Saad developed the Surgical Residency Program which made it easy for Saudi Arabian surgeons to receive UK certification. This is a great achievement that Saad praises to date. Through this initiative, it become easy for many Saudi Arabia students to receive the best training at home. At Saudi Arabia, he also enjoyed giving lectures and sharing his experiences with others. The profession has also presented him with an opportunity to tour the world and interact with people from all walks of life. Dr. Saad Saad is now a retired pediatric surgeon living in New Jersey.

Saad attained his medical degree from Cairo University in Egypt and completed his internship in England. After migrating to the US, he did his residency in pediatric surgery and was certified by the USA pediatric surgery board.
