EOS Lip Balm For All Lips

There are a lot of lip balm products on the market today. Some of them are better than others. How do you navigate through to find the best ones for you?

EOS Lip Balm

EOS lip balm is a great option for you if your lips are dry and cracked. They have Shea Butter and can help your lips to feel soft and protected when you are using it. The lip balm can also help to heal the lips when they are damaged from the weather or other things. EOS can take care of your lips when you aren’t able to because of the harsh winters or dry climate.

What Makes it Better?

The biggest thing that makes EOS better is the way it helps your lips. It has better items in it that are helpful in taking the dry skin away and giving moisture to the lips themselves. This can be as simple as adding lip balm to your nightly routine. You can also put it on at other times to help get the dryness out of the lip skin and make it feel soft and so much better.

Another thing that makes EOS lip balm different is that they have a unique container that is round in shape and is good getting to the bottom of the lip balm. Because of the round shape, it’s a lot easier to use all of the lip balm and not waste any like with the stick lip balm. It also comes in many flavors to choose from. This way it’s not boring and you can choose a different flavor every time.

There are a lot of lip balms you can choose from, but you can get the EOS brand to help your lips to feel better and for you to not have to deal with the wax sometimes used in other brands. You should take your time and find the one that is right for you so you will be happy with the Lip Balm you get, but EOS might just be the right one for you. Makeup Lovers, Rejoice!

Are you looking to have bright, beautiful Bambi eyes? How about amazingly spirited lips thickly covered with the most vibrant colors you ever thought possible? Your time has come and Lime Crime is your answer.

Lime Crime is a company located in Los Angeles, California and founded by current CEO, Doe Deere. The company promises bold and outrageous colors to bring out your unique personality and suggests that “If you like to live unapologetically, Lime Crime is for you”.

While the majority of the business is conducted through the Lime Crime website, www.LimeCrime.com, there are a limited number of locations in the United States and around the world that offer the product.

Perusing the Lime Crime website, however, is a true joy. Looking at the plump lips and choosing which crazy color they will sport is entertainment in and of its self. This is not necessarily a surprise as one of Lime Crime’s goals is to “create the best interactive shopping experience for makeup enthusiasts around the world”. While deciding on the makeup is a no-brainer (one of each please!), choosing among the brilliantly vibrant colors will cause you pause.

Speaking of paws, this makeup is both vegan and animal cruelty free. Ms. Deere has a soft spot for animals, so ensures no creatures are harmed during the process of creating her makeup. The company has a history of making charitable contributions to animal rescue groups as well as other charity groups that benefit women and children. In fact, this young company has already donated over sixteen thousand dollars to various charities including to Bideawee, the oldest no kill animal shelter in the country with offices, hospitals, and training centers throughout the state of New York.

Okay, back to the makeup. I must say I am most drawn to the lip products. The Unicorn Lipsticks have the ability to transform your boring lip-colored lips to thick and rich, passionate beauties with colors such as “Cry Baby”, a cartoon blue, “New Yolk City”, a banana yellow, and “Serpentina”, a metallic green. This line of lipsticks is glossy, sometimes shimmery, and always amazing.

If you are interested in trying something perhaps a tad more striking (is that possible?), I would encourage you to check out the Velvetines, “the original liquid to matte lipstick”. Veering from the typical glossy, shimmery lipstick to a matte finish is a bold, but brilliant move. Colors include “Squash”, a glow stick orange, “Shroom”, a 90s brown, “Wicked”, a deep red and “Black Velvet”, the blackest black. Imagine a super black lipstick with a matte finish; how wonderfully witchy!

I am truly a fan of Lime Crime and believe they strive with each of their creations to succeed in the mission of their company: “To break up the stale beauty ideals with fashion-forward shades and unmatched color payoff, so you can create looks as vivid and unique as you are”.

Are Your Makeup Products Safe?

Taking care of your skin is one way to ensure a healthy, youthful glow as you age. Many women have a skincare regimen that they follow religiously. Washing, moisturizing, eating a balanced diet, staying hydrated, and applying natural serums and creams are wonderful ways to care for your skin. However, it might surprise you to know that the makeup you wear could be working against you rather than for you. To ensure that your makeup isn’t thwarting your efforts to achieve flawless skin, keep the following tips in mind.

When shopping for new cosmetics, I look for Lime Crime, always take your skin into consideration. No matter how meticulous you are about caring for your skin, applying the wrong products can be detrimental to your dermal health. Pay attention to ingredient labels and if a product contains high amounts of chemicals, avoid it. These chemicals can irritate your skin and even strip away the body’s natural oils, leading to a dry, dull complexion.

Before purchasing any product, test it. Many makeup counters offer “test” products that you can try on your skin before putting it in your shopping cart. To test these products, apply a small amount to an inconspicuous area like the back of your thumb or your earlobe. Wait for fifteen minutes and if you experience any dryness, redness, itching, or other symptoms, do not purchase the product.

To determine if the makeup you already own is bad for your skin, look at the ingredients and the expiration date. Products that contain certain ingredients, such as soy oil or even Vitamin C can become rancid after their expiration date. Also, many products are laden with bacteria after months of handling—something you do not want all over your skin. If the makeup is past the expiration date, throw it out. Finally, look for storage suggestions to make sure that your storing your cosmetics properly. Otherwise, they may end up going bad sooner.

If you suffer from a skin disorder of the face, such as acne, psoriasis, or eczema, you should avoid all products containing harsh chemicals. These chemicals can further irritate your skin, rendering your skincare routine useless. Instead, opt for all-natural products and never apply makeup to an open wound.

Always wash your brushes and sharpen your eyeliner after each use. Use lukewarm water and a mild detergent to get rid of any unwanted bacteria and then set your brushes out to dry. Every six months, you may also want to consider replacing your brushes.

Don’t assume that cruelty-free products aren’t safe. Just because certain companies refuse to test on animals doesn’t mean that they’re products aren’t as safe as companies who do. This couldn’t be further from the truth. There are several means of reliable testing on ingredients, including tissue cultures and even computer models. Most of these companies also tend to use ingredients that have already been deemed as safe. Lime Crime is an example of a cruelty-free company (approved by both PETA and Leaping Bunny) that offers quality makeup products that are not tested on animals.

To keep your face looking flawless and radiant even as you age, consider your skin when purchasing cosmetics. If most of the ingredients cannot be pronounced or if the makeup causes any sort of reaction on your skin, place it back on the counter and opt for something different.
